Captain, an eight-year-old cat, spent most of his life in a crowded house with over 20 other cats. He never had much attention or space of his own. But all of that changed when he was rescued by the Community Cat Club in South Jersey.
Sara Sharp, the founder of the Community Cat Club, said that Captain was a sweetheart from the very beginning. He was friendly and outgoing, and he loved to cuddle. Captain was quickly placed in a foster home, where he thrived. He loved having his own bed, toys, and lots of room to explore.
One day, a couple from South Jersey saw Captain’s photo online and fell in love. They contacted the Community Cat Club and asked if he was still available for adoption. The couple was worried that Captain might have already been adopted, but they were relieved to learn that he was still available.
When the couple met Captain, it was love at first sight. Captain rubbed up against them and purred loudly. The couple knew that he was the cat for them.
Captain’s new home was very different from his old one. He was the only cat in the house, and he had plenty of space to himself. He loved to follow his new owners around, perch on their shoulders, and cuddle up with them at night. Captain was so grateful to have a loving home, and he showed his gratitude with sweet kisses.
Captain’s story is a reminder that every cat deserves a loving home. If you’re looking for a new furry friend, please consider adopting from your local animal shelter. You could change a cat’s life forever.
