Karen was a feral cat who hated being touched. She lived on the streets until Puppy Kitty NYCity rescued her. She was sick and scared, and she would raise her paw if anyone tried to pet her.
Karen didn’t want any human contact. But that changed when she experienced the power of foster care love. Thus, she realized that cuddles are wonderful, and she became a clingy kitty who can’t get enough of them!
In this episode of Cat Crazy from The Dodo, we meet Mackenzie, Karen’s foster mom. She shows us how Karen demands cuddles all day long, and how she makes her life more fun and cozy. Karen is very expressive about her cuddle needs, and she will meow until Mackenzie gives her attention.
She likes to snuggle in bed, knead her paws on Mackenzie’s neck, and help her with her work. She also loves Mackenzie’s boyfriend, Jackson, and she greets him with purrs and kisses when he comes home.
Mackenzie is a senior editor and producer with The Dodo, and she works from home. She says she can’t do anything in the morning because Karen wants to cuddle so much. But she doesn’t mind, because she loves Karen’s pestering. Mackenzie says Karen is the cutest assistant ever, and she helps her find the best cat videos on TikTok.
Karen has a routine of cuddling with Mackenzie and Jackson throughout the day. She, also, joins them for dinner, watches TV with them, and sleeps with them. Karen is very happy and content, and she shows her gratitude with her affection.
This kitten is a completely different cat from the one rescued from the streets. She went from a sick and grumpy cat to a snuggly and sweet cat, thanks to the love of her foster parents.
Mackenzie says that Karen’s transformation amazes her, and she credits her previous fosters for showing her what love is. She, also, says Karen is one of the snuggliest and happiest cats in the world, and she wants to share her cuddly love with everyone!
