The act of abandoning kittens is incomprehensible to me. Seeing kittens dumped like trash breaks my heart. It was an eventful month in Tippi’s and Sparkles’ lives that could have taken their lives abruptly.
The three kittens were found in a dumpster when they were less than four weeks old. They were rescued by kind-hearted people who had hearts for cats in need, but their story ended well. If you’re reading this, then I’m confident you’re a fellow cat lover who loves happy endings!
How did Sparkles and Tippi come into your life?
A friend of ours heard soft meows coming from the dumpster inside their workplace on May 9, 2020. Tippi and Sparkles and two other siblings were in the dumpster when he got into it gently. His first reaction after retrieving them was to put them in a box and call me as soon as possible to see if I would like to take them.
It was a no-brainer for us! They wouldn’t take bottle feed. In no time, they learned how to eat soft canned food. They ate kitten milk replacement with devouring gusto. The vet took us right in on Monday after we called. The kittens were four weeks old.
What kind of personalities do they have?
Both of them are sassy, sweet, and fun.
Is there a cat or dog living with them at home?
A 13-year-old brother named Juno is their big brother. All of them were born on April 13.
How do they spend their free time?
It’s all about playing and snuggling.
Are there any special things you would like people to know about Tippi and Sparkles?
The kittens were found on Mother’s Day, the day before their birthday, and their birthday is the same as when I lost my mother in 2008. I believe my mom sent these cuties to me.
