A Reddit member who goes by JustAnotherGoodGuy decided to share his fateful encounter with a scared kitten, who was clinging for dear life to a truck near his office. As it all turned out, “the mama kitty ran off… and ditched the kitten. No other kittens could be found,” – the redditor went on to explain. He simply knew he couldn’t leave such a tiny needful creature alone on the street.
“Can I bring it home?” – JustAnotherGoodGuy texted to his wife right after he discovered the kitten. “Who could say no to that face?” – she responded. That very moment marked the beginning of a new life for the kitty. They decided to take her to the vet for checkup and vaccination. “That’s how we found she’s a she. Got shots, the whole new kitten package. She was only 4-5 weeks old when found.” – the guy noted.
Later on, the cat was named Axel, and her brand new life was finally starting. “[Axel] has made herself right at home with our 19 year old cat and 2 year old dog. She’s safe, sound, warm, and… loved,” – the couple wrote.

“My husband sent this picture and said ‘can I bring it home?’”

The couple brought the kitty to a vet and that’s when they learned she was female.
