Richard Rawlings Discovers Some of the Coolest Vehicles at the Petersen Museum

1964 Chevrolet Impala Gypsy Rose at Petersen Automotive Museum

The tour continues with Richard looking like a kid in a candy store. He states “I could literally go broke in here”.

Moving on, he stops to look at several classic lowriders. He says he is really starting to get into real lowriders from back in the day with pedigre. Daniel interjects that the one he is looking at is probably “the most famous lowrider in the world”.

This is a 1964 Chevrolet Impala called “Gypsy Rose” and has also a historic vehicle by Hagarty. This father and son project has an incredible paint job, with several roses painted on the car. The car was also in the 1970s Television Series, Chico and the Man.

It is obvious with Richard’s excitement throughout the video that he is really in his element here. After going through the Andy Warhol Mercedes-Benz exhibition, Richard ends the video by saying “now we’re going to get loaded at the hotel!”
