The Family Took Him To The Vet After Discovering Him In The Yard With An Eye Infection

A family from California finds a kitten in the yard of their essay house. They put him inside and took care of him.

They discovered the small tabby had an eye infection and required emergency medical assistance after taking a closer look. The good news was that their children were the founders of Mini Cat Town, a local cat sanctuary, so plans were made to transport the disgruntled feline.

“With one glance at her, our mother carried her inside, put up a playpen for her, and wrapped her in a soft blanket.” Tram Bui of Mini Cat Town told the Kitten Cat Post, “By the time we reached home, she had already called the kitten Lucky.”

The kitten needed time to acclimatize to her new circumstances, so it took her about a week to find her feet in her new home. Every time someone got even close to her, she hissed. As a result, soft toys were brought in to make her feel more at ease.

“We treated her for an eye infection that was rather severe. Because the initial round of medicine didn’t work, we had to switch her eye medication before she started to feel better.”

 

“We socialized her by brushing her with a toothbrush and talking to her. “We observed as she gradually emerged from her shell,” Tram said.

“She grew sociable, pleasant, and purred when we caressed her fairly fast, though she still hissed if we approached her too rapidly.”

Even the resident dog got involved to help Lucky go from hisses to purrs. Lucky happily snuggled into her fur and drifted off to sleep, all the while purring non-stop.

Her hissing soon faded away, and her kittenish traits came to the fore.

“She stopped hissing and started purring and getting a lot of head scratches.”

 

The previous savage suddenly converted into a true cuddle bug in before of everyone’s eyes.

“She met Lilo, Finny, Rosie, and Misty, our family pets!” To Misty’s chagrin, she particularly enjoyed playing with her toys.”

Lucky was eager to join the other kittens on the adơрtion floor once she was ready for her forever home.

Calpico, a kind Calico, took Lucky under her wing and cuddled her whenever she needed it.

 

“She comes from an amazing family with a mother, father, two human sisters, and three kitty siblings,” Tram said.

“We had a virtual adơрtion meeting with them, and they let us meet the entire staff, including their resident cats, gave us a tour of the house, and showed us where Lucky would be residing to adjust to her new home.”

Lucky by name and lucky by nature, she is now living the life of her dreams.

“We and our mom, who took care of Lucky, will miss her dearly.”

“But we’re so happy and excited for everyone.”
